The New Aquarium window is enables you to create a new BlueChromis aquarium. This defines the database for each aquarium. You create a BlueChromis aquarium for each aquarium that you wish to manage.
To open the New Aquarium window choose New Aquariumfrom the File menu or press CTRL+N from the keyboard.
New Aquarium Name
Enter a name for the new Aquarium.
Copy Settings
To copy the aquarium settings from an existing aquarium to the new aquarium, check Copy Settings From An Existing Aquarium. Then click on the Choose Aquarium to copy settings from field to display a list of available aquariums to choose from. In addition, there is an option to choose Default Settings from the list.
Selecting Default Settings will copy the Example Aquarium's Activity Types and Activity Definitions that were in effect when BlueChromis was first installed.
Selecting another Aquarium will copy that aquarium's Activity Types, Activity Definitions and Memorized Activities. If you choose to copy the Example aquarium, any changes you may have made to the Example aquarium's settings will also be copied.
Copying settings is the easiest way to define a new aquarium.
If Copying Settings is left unchecked, you will start the new aquarium with a clean blank slate.

Press OK to create a new aquarium. Press Cancel to abort the New Aquarium process and close the window.
