Autocomplete

Autocomplete anticipates the word you want to type without actually having to type it in completely. When you enter a Register cell that has autocomplete, a dropdown button will become visible. As you start typing in the cell, suggested words appear in the cell. As you type more letters, the list of available choices narrows. Continue this process until you see the word you want.

To see the dropdown list of words that are available for a cell, click the dropdown button, or press ALT+DOWN.

Selected Cell After Pressing Dropdown Button

You can select a word directly from the list, if you desire. When the dropdown is visible, use the Down Arrow or Up Arrow keys to select a word, then press TAB to move to the next cell. Clicking on a word in the list will also place it in the cell.

BlueChromis uses Dynamic and Static dropdown lists. If the list is Dynamic, BlueChromis will automatically learn new words that you type. These new words become available the next time you move to a row. Static lists are defined by BlueChromis. They can not be edited.

BlueChromis has a set of Lookup Tables that are used to edit Dynamic autocomplete lists.
